Individual therapy involves only the client and therapist and can help you talk freely without fear, judgement, or criticism. Clients learn to understand what may have caused their problems and how to manage them through psychological insight, solution focused guidance, and support. Through therapy clients learn to identify and understand their behaviors, emotions, and ideas that contribute to their mental health status, and learn how to modify them. Therapy can help clients regain a sense of control and pleasure in life.
